If you have found one that meets such criteria, chances are their fees will be fair. These services to not usually charge fees up front, but rather put them in with the repayment plan. Be sure to read the fine print, however, before signing anything because there may also be other types of fees attached that is not mentioned up front. If so, this is a good sign that the credit card counselor is one to be avoided.
