Credit Report Score Chart

What Is This, And How Can You Read It?

What is a credit report score chart?

The credit report score chart is basically a chart that shows your credit score, how it compares to others, and what the score means. The credit score chart shows which scores can be an excellent credit rating, an okay credit rating, and a poor credit rating. These scores are normally a range of scores. It gives some explanation as to what is included in these particular credit reports and may also give some advice on how to improve the score.

The chart also shows how your credit score compares to all other consumers based upon the average consumer credit score. Credit reporting agencies can provide this chart as well as an explanation of it and a detailed analysis of your credit score. There may be a fee for this and the consumer should check with the agency before ordering it. Each agency has their own way of presenting information, some may not call it the credit report chart but the concept is the same.

How can you read it?

You read it like any other chart. You find your score on the chart and it tells you how good or bad this score is. It can give you an idea of what type of credit you will be offered if any. For instance, someone with a 700 credit score may be offered a lot more credit then someone with a 500 credit score. It may also give you some advice on how to improve your score if this s needed. Credit scores can be categorized as outstanding, good, average, poor, and bad or a host of other terms however these terms are more widely used. Someone with poor credit may find it difficult to obtain new credit and should do everything they can to improve their credit score and the credit chart can help point them in the right direction.
